Sheleatha Bristow, MD, MPH is the Family Medicine Medical Director for Variety Care. She is dedicated to improving access to quality healthcare for the most vulnerable and marginalized populations in her state. A member of the Oklahoma Black Physician Alliance, American Academy of Family Physicians, and Oklahoma County Medical Society, Dr. Taylor-Bristow values mutual respect and kindness as the most important factors in creating an optimal doctor-patient relationship. According to her, patients that are able feel comfortable and not feel judged will be more willing to be an active participant in their healthcare and feel empowered to take ownership of their health. In her free time, Dr. Taylor-Bristow enjoys gardening, interior decorating and traveling. She finds great satisfaction in serving others, and looks forward to continuing her work to improve patient care.
