Variety Care Welcomes Carmen Lee
March 20, 2017, Oklahoma City, OK – Variety Care is proud to announce and welcome Phoay Luan Lee, PA-C, as our newest Physician Assistant. Phoay Luan Lee will be the latest provider to join the Variety Care Behavioral Health Department at our Straka Terrace health center. She will begin seeing patients in March, 2017.
Phoay Luan spent her time in high school assisting with charity drives to help the elderly and disabled persons. Those experiences helped to develop her sense of compassion for the underprivileged and fuel her ambition to become a health care provider. Lee then received her Bachelors of Public Management with honors from the Northern University of Malaysia in Sintok, Kedah, Malaysia. She immigrated to the United State to attend medical school, earning her Master of Health Sciences in the Physician Associate Program from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
Phoay Luan Lee is thrilled to join Variety Care. “I was brought up believing that helping people in need is our greatest calling in life. I am honored to have this opportunity to work at Variety Care and provide care to those who might not be able to receive it elsewhere.”
Sally Kerr, Director of Behavioral Health at Variety Care, says of Phoay Luan Lee, “Her passion for service and desire to provide care to those who need it most fit directly in line with our mission to make quality health care affordable and accessible. She will be a great asset to our team.”
